Loss of anyone in your life is sad, when it is someone that you loved and cared for it can be difficult to cope with all the feelings and emotions you may have.

You may find it hard to accept that the person has gone, you may feel numb, angry, anxious or depressed.  These feelings are part of coming to terms with what your loss.

Here is some guidance that might help you cope with your loss.

  • Allow yourself time to grieve.
  • Keep talking.  Talk to friends and family, don’t isolate yourself.
  • Memories are important. Make a picture book or memory box.
